Suddenly I feel so patriotic. I stumbled upon this email and I totally agree with it. I decided to post it up and share with all my Malaysian friends.
Remembering all my friends who came back from KL study, complaint about some of the minorities of the KL students who are nuscience. They thought Sabahan still stay up on the pokok. Let me open your eyes and tell you how great Sabahans are! (got one particular Sabahan even own a famous blog - http://fuizaibing.blogspot.com)
My dear international friends, this post is only for Malaysians. There will be a lot of terms that you guys don't understand.. so, hehe.. bare with me once.
Have you ever heard people ask us Sabahan,
whether we still live on the jungle, hunt for food and
wear clothing made out of leaves?
If I was asked so, I would proudly say yes XP
When you as a Sabahan start to feel low just
because you're from Sabah, these facts would
make you change your mind:
We have the second largest International airport in
Malaysia. While others might not even have any.
We have three major airports, while others might
not have one.
Car fuel is the cheapest here. Fuck Austrilia fuel price. I feel bad for them.
Luckily I do not own a car here.
We have two official cities, KK and Sandakan and
soon Tawau, while others might only have a town.
We are still the reason why tourist comes to
Malaysia, for our mount Kinabalu.
Two out of the top three of the sexiest girl in
Malaysia are from Sabah(Daphne Iking and Amber
Chia) according to FHM.
The whole Philippine country does not envy
Malaysia. They envy Sabah. I think.
Sipadan Island, need I explain?
Everybody say:" Mokhtar Dahari is the main
reason Malaysian football team qualified for the
Olympics, football event in the 80". With all due
respect, the two goals are scored by Hassan Sani
and James Wong, both Sabahan. Not forgetting the
man who kept Malaysia at bay, Peter Rajah, also a
Sabahan as the goalie.
The most air travelers are from Sabah. Almost all
Sabahan have atleast traveled once or twice with
airplane, compared to the west Malaysians.
We have our own daily newspaper, Daily Express
and Sabah Times.
Every time there - a reality show, our contestant
always reaches respectful level. AF, Blast-Off etc. (Hello Wilson, we're talking about you)
We live in harmony, not just with Malay, Indian and
Chinese, but also with Kadazandusun, Bajau,
Murut, Rungus etc. The term Sabah truly Asia is
more like it. Blood that flows inside Bing is half Kadazan! =D
Most of us Sabahan speaks at least 4 different
language. Not including coarse language lagi tuh.
This is just to name a few, but despite all this, we
are still proud to be Malaysian! (but not for long la.. politics in Malaysia.. tsk tsk tsk. Dont even try to talk about it.) To my international friends. If you come Sabah to play, I will personally bring you around! Sabah got along hot chicks by seaside hor... and they are good at massage.
All of them looks like FHM chicks I tell you. :P
