Low Carbo High Protein


Recently. I have just started my "low carbo high protein" diet... this is one of the eating solutions to help you meet your weight loss goals. Yea right, let's see how it goes la. Let me explain why I choose to do this.

Why LOW CARBOHYDRATES?
The body uses a combination of carbohydrates, protein and fat to get energy. Traditional diets are so high in carbohydrates it is impossible for the body to burn the amount of carbohydrates eaten let alone the protein and fat.

What happens then?
The left over carbs turn to fat and are stored around your trouble spots.. like tummy.

Why HIGH PROTEIN?
Protein is not only a perfect source of energy, but has the the added benefit of not turning in to fats when the body has absorbed more protein than necessary.

What happens then?
Build and repair muscles (healthy muscle helps the body burn fat)
Helps our organs, hormones and antibodies work properly.

Let's see how long I can tahan without carbohydrates.. because carbohydrates are one of my favourite food group, such as pizza, bread, pasta and rice :( I give myself 10 days without carbo.. hopefully I don't die.
